Cavaliers are wonderful dogs which have been bred to live as loving companions. They do not thrive living outside or in a kennel. They need to be a part of your day-to-day life
We are a small hobby or show home, that breeds occasionally with the hope of producing our next show prospect. We pay special attention to health, temperament, and type. However, we cannot keep every puppy, so we do have pet and show prospects occasionally available to responsible and loving homes. If you are interested in being placed on an "interest list," please contact us. Our dogs are raised in the heart of our family, and are well socialized, happy and confident. As members of the dog fancy, we are guardians of this loving breed and therefore only place our companion puppies with spay/neuter contracts. We hope you will understand that we will probably have as many questions about you, as you will about us!
One of the greatest threats to Cavaliers is the incredible growth in the demand for puppies as people learn what wonderful companions they are. Please help us to protect our breed by taking care when you select your puppy and the person you purchase it from. We recommend that you purchase from a breeder who is a member of a local AKC-accredited breed club. In Phoenix, Arizona, this is the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club of Central Arizona.
We are also always happy to put you in touch with a reputable breeder in your area. We will be happy to to discuss the breed with you and answer any questions you may have. trustarcavaliers@yahoo.com

Quote from the Westminster Kennel Club:
BUY DOGS FROM A BREEDER
The Westminster Kennel Club continues to firmly believe and advocate that the best source for a puppy or adult dog for your family will always be those responsible breeders who produce puppies with the goal of improving the health and physical traits of that breed. To accomplish that, responsible breeders continuously study their pedigrees and breeding stock, do health checks on all of their dogs involved, properly raise and socialize their puppies, and stand behind their puppies. Responsible breeders are proud of their dogs and participate in activities and organizations that further their knowledge of their breed and their dogs.
As we have for many years during our televised broadcast, The Westminster Kennel Club will continue to make the following announcement: "If you are planning to add a dog to your life and have come to look over the best of the best, please note, no dog you have seen here (yesterday or today) came from a pet shop, or was the 'product', if you will, of a puppy mill. If you want a dog, go to the people who care - the dedicated specialty breeders who have made dogs like those you see here - a lifetime effort. Talk dogs with dog people who care and understand."
